Updating the session or section for tickets

As an event organiser, you can easily move attendees' tickets to different sessions or sections of your event. This is useful when you need to accommodate requests, manage capacity, or reorganise your event structure.

Accessing the attendees section

To move tickets, start by navigating to the attendees section of your event. This displays a comprehensive list of all attendees (tickets) for your event.

Moving multiple attendees

If you need to move several attendees at once, follow these steps:

  1. Select attendees: In the first column of the attendees list, tick the checkbox next to each attendee you want to move. You can select as many attendees as needed.

  2. Access the move function: Once you've selected one or more attendees, an action button will appear above the select column. Click this button to reveal the option to move the selected attendees.

  3. Choose destination: On the following screen, select the section or session you'd like to move the attendees to.

  4. Send updated tickets (optional): You can choose to send updated tickets via email to each affected attendee. This ensures they have the correct information for their new session or section.

Moving a single attendee

For moving just one attendee, you can use the quicker individual method:

  1. Access the action menu: Find the attendee you want to move in the attendees list.

  2. Select move ticket: Click on the attendee's action menu and select "Move ticket".

  3. Choose destination and notification: Follow the same process as above to select the new section and optionally send an updated ticket.

Important considerations

  • Moved attendees will receive email notifications if you choose to send updated tickets
  • The original ticket information will be updated to reflect the new session or section
  • All attendee details and purchase information remain unchanged during the move process

This feature helps you maintain flexibility in your event management while keeping attendees informed of any changes to their bookings.
