Welcome to the Contacts and List management feature, designed to streamline your communication and event planning processes. This comprehensive tool empowers you to create and manage customised contact lists, ensuring efficient email distribution and enhanced event organisation. Here's a detailed guide to help you make the most of this feature:

Creating contacts lists

  1. Access the feature: Log in to your account and navigate to the Contacts section.

  2. Creating a new list: Click "Add contacts" to start. Give your list a descriptive name for easy identification.

  3. Adding contacts: Add contacts to your list individually or import them via CSV upload. For individual entries, provide the contact's name, and email address.

  4. Creating subsets: To segment your contacts, consider naming your lists based on shared attributes like interests, locations, or affiliations.

Sending emails:

  1. Composing emails: Once your contact list is ready, you can draft and send emails directly from Undiscovered. Choose a list or subset to send the email to via the promotion tab in your event.

  2. Personalisation: Utilise personalisation tags to address recipients by their names and incorporate dynamic content, making your emails more engaging.

  3. Preview and test: Before sending, preview your email to ensure it appears as intended. Send a test email to yourself to verify its appearance and functionality.

  4. Scheduling: Decide whether to send the email immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time.

Event ticket management

  1. Ticket type restrictions: Leverage your contact lists to restrict access to certain ticket types during event ticket sales. Assign specific lists to each ticket type to control who can purchase them.

  2. Customised Offers: Create targeted promotions by offering discounted ticket prices to specific contact lists.

CSV import

  1. Uploading contacts: To save time, import new contacts using a CSV file. Ensure your CSV file is properly formatted with columns for names, email addresses, and other relevant data.

  2. Mapping fields: When importing, map the CSV columns to the corresponding fields in Undiscovered to ensure accurate data transfer.

  3. Error handling: The system will notify you of any errors during the import process, helping you rectify any issues before proceeding.
