Why is my event not on sale?

Created on 11 Mar 2025

If your event is not on sale, there are a few things you can check to enable sales on your event.

Session booking start and end times

Review your event session(s) and ensure the booking start and end times are correct. Usually, the booking end date and time should be set to the end time of your event.

The booking dates on your session override any dates you've set on your ticket types

Session and pricing group status

Review the status of your sessions and or pricing groups and ensure they are set to "active".

Ticket type(s) not created

To sell tickets, you need to create at least one ticket type.

Ticket type availability dates

Review your ticket type availability dates. Normally, you don't need to set availability dates on your ticket types, but if you have, make sure the dates selected are within the date range you've set on your session booking start and end times.

Section capacity

Section capacity is where you set the maximum capacity of your event. Review your section capacities and ensure sure that they are set to a number greater than all your ticket type allocations.

Ticket type allocation

Review your ticket type allocations and ensure sure that they are not sold out. You can increase the allocations if you need to.
