Types of ticket types

Below are the types of tickets that you can create. Some are ticketed, while others won't issue a ticket.

Ticketed types

The following ticket types will issue users with a ticket.

Standard

Use this ticket type if you have multiple ticket options on sale at the same time or just one flat price.

Tiered

Grouped with other tiered ticket types, eg. Early bird, Second Release, Final release etc. Other tiered ticket types in the same pricing group are tied together. e.g. When the highest ordered tier sells out, the next available tier goes on sale.

Free

Select this type if you want to run a free event that requires registration.

Secret Link (obsolete)

A unique link will be generated for this ticket type, which allows this type to be visible on the event page. This ticket type will not be visible unless you give people the link generated from the ticket type page. You can get the link from the ticket type listing page. Use this ticket type for friends, crew, stashed allocation in case you sell out etc.

Guest List

Free pass for staff, crew, performers etc. Add guests via the attendees page. This won't appear on your sales page. This ticket type isn't transferable

Add-on

An item which is an add-on to your event which can be purchased at any time or from a specified date range. eg. Car Pass, Child Pass, Meal Ticket for example.

Membership

Membership is the same as a Standard ticket type, however, the wording on the ticket will be "membership" instead of "ticket".

Non-Ticketed types

The following types will not issue customers with a ticket.

Donation

Allows customers to donate a nominated amount to your cause! A donation does not buy them a ticket. The price you set for this ticket type will be the minimum amount that can be donated.

Product

A purchasable product that's not ticketed. This could be merchandise that you would like customers to buy on your page.
