Reporting an incident at an event
If something happened at an event that you think the organiser should know about, you can send them an incident report. This might be someone else's behaviour, a safety concern, harassment, or damage to property.
Your report goes directly to the event organiser. It is not shared publicly.
If anyone is in immediate danger, call 000 first. This form is not monitored as an emergency service.
How to report an incident
- Open your ticket email – you'll find a Report an incident link in the event details. You can also report from the event's contact page.
- Answer the questions as best you can (see below). You don't need to know everything – just describe what you saw.
- Click Submit report.
You'll receive an email confirming that your report has been received. It includes a secure link where you can check your report's status and reply to the organiser – no account or password needed. The link works for 30 minutes; if it expires you can request a new one using your report reference and email address.
What you'll be asked
- Your name and email address
- What kind of incident it was
- What happened
- Who the report is about, and their email, if you know
- When and where it happened
- Who was affected
- Whether anyone else saw what happened
- Photos or files, if you have them
- Whether the organiser may contact you about your report
What happens next
The event organiser reviews your report. They may:
- record it against the person involved
- take action such as restricting that person from future events
- send you a message if they need more information and you've said that's okay – you'll get an email letting you know, and their messages appear on your report page
For privacy reasons the organiser can't tell you what action was taken.
Your privacy
- Your name and email are shared with the event organiser's team only, so they can follow up if needed. You can ask not to be contacted – you'll still get the one confirmation email, and you can change your mind later from your report page.
- The person you report is never told who made the report.
- Reports are kept securely. Only the organiser's team and platform administrators can read them, and every time the full report is opened – or your identity is revealed – it's recorded.
- Your report page only shows your own report's reference, status and messages. You can't see the organiser's notes or any action they take.
If you need urgent help
Incident reports are not monitored around the clock. If someone is in danger or you need help right now, contact event staff at the venue or call 000.
