Xstatic Sunsets was born out of a mission to create dance parties so good that you can get high naturally. We are creating a movement to inspire a new party culture which is inclusive, safe, healthy and lifts your vibration in life.

All you need is your natural energy.. we are going to deliver an XSTATIC NATURAL HIGH! This a strictly an alcohol and drug free event. Take this unique opportunity to experience the natural high!

Who doesn’t love a fancy dress party? In line with the theme, dress up as your favourite music decade! Are you a grooving hippy, 80’s deeva or 90’s raver? Or maybe you will shine as your favourite pop idol?

DANCE INTO SUNSET ON SHARK ISLAND

While big parties have been banned on Shark Island, National Parks have kindly been lenient in support of our mission for healthy parties. We know stunning nature locations combined with the golden glow of sunset creates the ultimate party backdrop. Shark Island with its beautiful trees and jaw dropping views across the harbour to sunset is going to create a magical dance party experience!

WE GET YOU REALLY HIGH!

So it’s actually a scientific thing. If you dance hard enough for long enough you get a release of happy chemicals including serotonin, endorphins and dopamine (yes some of those that are artificially released when you take recreational drugs). Add to that when your in joyful connection with others listening to uplifting music we enjoy the release of Oxytocin. The great thing is you can ride these uplifting feelings sustainably for as long as you're vibing, dancing and connecting (without the nasty drop or hangover). We plan to keep you up there!

HEALTHY & YUMMY ORGANIC FOOD & DRINK STALLS

Did you wonder how you were going to dance for 6 hours riding the natural high? Healthy and nourishing food and drinks will be available from our carefully selected range of stall holders and brands to nourish, hydrate and uplift your body and mind.

We love fun and mischief especially when it’s a surprise! Clearly we cannot reveal too much but let’s just say we are taking the intent to inspire you to dance pretty seriously!

SUPPORTING MENTAL HEALTH CHARITIES

The very core of our mission is to help people be happier and healthier through dance, self expression and connecting with others. As we know drug and alcohol abuse and addiction contributes to anxiety and depression. But on the flip side dance, music and connecting with others can bring great joy and happiness. We want to support mental health charities in addressing the problem by donating funds but also inspire change to address the causes. We are giving 10% of proceeds to Beyond Blue, Hello Sunday Morning and the Black Dog Institute.

Our launch party on Shark Island is a symbolic event to showcase and inspire Australia you don’t need drugs and alcohol to party. Our goal is to simply inspire a change in people's relationship with alcohol, to encourage moderation and shift the mentality you don’t need to get wasted to have a good time. We will be attracting media attention and capturing footage so we can promote bigger and more frequent events to grow the movement. By bringing your awesome energy, dress up and dance moves you will be playing your part to inspire others to give a sober dance party a go.

Be ridiculous and have fun! Don’t hold back. This is the time to let go of social norms and truly express yourself. Dressing up allows us to step into a new character, let go and dance! Act up, entertain and form the tapestry of moving bodies to inspire and ignite the light in others. Add some colourful accessories or go all out, there is no judgement. Your playing a role to inspire others to ‘move’ and truly let go!

BALANCE & WELLNESS

Set the intention to party sober and bring your natural energy. Our parties are so good you won’t need anything. Leave your substances at home and enjoy the natural high that’s waiting to rise inside you. We replace alcohol and chips with healthy drinks and food which nourishes you and lifts your vibration. You will need it! After 6 hours of dance you will be ready for a good night’s sleep, so you can rock your Sunday and dance into work on Monday morning.

Our vision is to grow the healthy dance community and promote the opportunities to dance more often to be happier and healthier. We encourage you to explore and discover the many conscious dance forms and events available most nights of the week. Share with your friends, lets grow the community and movement for sober dance.

Our beautiful nature sunset locations are the essence of what makes our parties so great! Uniting us as one, connecting us to the earth and allowing us to truly release in the golden glow of the sun. The least we can do it leave it as we found it (or potentially cleaner!). Look after you own rubbish, take it with you and feel good about preserving the wonderful nature for others to enjoy.
