Terrifically Turkish experience

The Terrifically Turkish experience a family friendly all ages event, is coming to a beachside near you at Manly Life Saving Club! 

On SUNDAY 16TH APRIL!! Get ready to be blown away into the true depth of Turkish culture as we come together for humanity around the world and support our brothers and sisters over in Turkey.

As you may have heard (briefly over the news as much is unreported in Australia) on Monday 6th February 2023 an earthquake of 7.8 magnitude struck through Turkey and  neighbouring country Syria as well as Lebanon, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, and the Palestinian territories.

The devastating effects of this quake have taken the lives of 50,000+ (still counting) in Turkey alone and has left  with an estimated 10 million people homeless.

This is a cry for help that we must answer, with the small resources we have, we are creating this event, bring together you and many other special souls to connect, share and experience an eye opening and heartwarming afternoon on the scenic beach front of Manly. It is the very first time Manly will host a Turkish event like this one!

The charity we will be supporting is Austolian Youth. This incredible organisation is dedicated to the next generation and support for their home country of Turkey.

With the funds raised going towards Austolian Youth, this organisation with direct links to the devastation grounds in Turkey, will help towards rebuilding the communities lives through new schools, home containers and food for families who have lost everything. These small building block will be the pillar of support and love for the people of Turkey.

To note: This is an afternoon non - alcohol event and family friendly, please refrain from consuming alcohol during the event (there are plenty of bars to visit a few steps away after the event has concluded. We are positive you will be pumped from the experience).
