Join BOSS and the Sydney Burner community at METACOMPRESSION! Our first event since 2019. To the ancient Greeks, meta meant “beyond,” “after,” or “behind”. Today meta is used to describe something that’s transcending, self-aware or self-referencing.

Like a Burn, this event is the sum of the loving, creative gifts of the entire community and a way to connect and celebrate with the other burners in the cities in which we live every day. Burner events only happen through dedicated volunteer efforts, cooperation, gifting, and community in action.
