By purchasing a ticket to attend The Spice of Life, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Conditions of entry
• All attendees must sign and agree to the terms and conditions to be sent to them via SmartWaiver prior to attending the event. Failure to sign may result in refusal of entry and cancellation of your ticket.
Personal responsibility and safety
• You take full responsibility for your safety and the safety of any accompanying minors throughout the duration of the event.
• You acknowledge that participation in this event including volunteering may involve inherent risks and you participate at your own risk.
• This may include, environmental hazards such as wildlife, weather conditions, terrain, water bodies, fire or other common outdoor environmental hazards encountered while participating, camping and volunteering.
Event conduct
- You agree to treat all attendees, staff, and volunteers with respect and courtesy.
- We ask all attendees to repspect the principle of consent
- We ask all attendees to take all steps ensure your personal health and wellness is maintained throughout the event and refrain from risky or unhealthy behaviour
- Disruptive behaviour, violence, or violation of event policies may result in removal from the event without refund.
Health and medical information
- You are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may require attention during the event.
- While organisers are not responsible for medical care, advance notice helps ensure appropriate emergency response if needed.
- You must bring any necessary medications, medical devices, or first aid supplies you may require.
Ticketing and refunds
- Ticket transfers to other individuals are permitted through our official ticketing portal.
- If you cannot attend, it is your responsibility to transfer or sell your ticket through approved channels.
- All attendees, must have valid tickets for entry.
Event cancellation or postponement
If the event is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, venue unavailability, etc.):
- We will attempt to reschedule within 3 months
- If rescheduling is possible but you cannot attend the new date, you may transfer your ticket or request a partial refund
- If rescheduling is not possible, partial refunds will be issued minus costs already incurred (venue, deposits, administration, etc.)
- The refund amount will be determined based on recoverable expenses at the time of cancellation
Venue and facilities
- The venue is an outdoor camping environment with access to primitive showers, toilets and limited drinking water. Please BYO all drinking water (approx 5L per day)
- You acknowledge the venue's operating hours and agree to comply with entry/exit procedures
- Fires are strictly prohibited without prior approval from the site manager and site owners
Be prepared to provide your own food and drinks for the duration of the event
- Please come prepared with all food and drinks you need for the duration of your stay
Personal equipment and preparation
- You are responsible for bringing all personal items needed for your comfort and safety during the event
- This includes all camping equipment, shelter, bedding, weather-appropriate clothing, and personal care items
Self-care and personal wellbeing
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that:
- You are responsible for your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing throughout the event
- You will monitor your own limits and participate only in activities suitable for your abilities
- You will seek help from event staff or emergency services if needed
- You are responsible for your own reactions and responses to event content and activities
- Support resources are available through event staff if required
Photography and media
- You consent to photography/videography for promotional purposes
Liability waiver and release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ticket holders waive all legal rights and fully release The Spice of Life, its organisers, staff, volunteers, venue owners, and associated parties from all claims for:
- Compensation for loss, damage, injury (including bodily injury, mental distress, illness), or death
- Any incidents arising from participation in the event
- Actions or omissions of other attendees
- Theft, loss, or damage to personal property
The follwing waiver applies to all claims howsoever arising, whether due to negligence or otherwise, except where prohibited by law. All ticket holders are required to sign the Smartwaiver agreement prior to arrival on site.
Additional terms
- These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the event organisers
- If any provision is deemed invalid, the remaining terms remain in effect
- These terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia
By completing your ticket purchase, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

Refund Policy
No refunds
Refunds are not available, but tickets can be exchanged via the Undiscovered resale function if attendees are no longer able to attend.
