Welcome to the third event edition of EAU DE GROOVE at Killing Time and representing the underground music scene. 

Introducing our international guest SILAT BEKSI who is finally able to leave the borders of Ukraine and travel towards Asia Pacific and of course towards MELBOURNE.

SILAT BEKSI is one of the most inform talents in the European underground scene with releases on labels like Germany’s almighty Pleasure Zone, Welsh imprint Dreams Are Not Inside, What You Want, Vivus Records and of course his own imprint Modeight.

His sound continues to morph and develop, defying classification with it's heady combination of techno’s rhythmic sensibility, breakbeat influence and warm atmospheric textures that hypnotise and excite.SILAT BEKSI is an individual that pushes sonic boundaries into new territory with skill, and purpose. Over the last 5 years Silat Beksi has made quite the impression on minimal music lovers across the globe by doing just that. Utilising his own unique combination of rhythms & special imprinted textures to craft emotive and energetically charged pieces of music. This was recognized early on with labels like Romania’s Tzinah Records, Moscow’s Body Parts and Ukranian imprint Mulen Records offering him a platform through which to release and refine his musical style.

Eau de Groove is not only a community event but also an  exception radio show, hosted by the talented DJ Lili Joy and a new entry host Nacho. Eau de Groove is a show that celebrates all genres of music, from jazz to rock, and hip-hop to House and Minimal in the church of electronic music in Melbourne, Killing time.

With an expertly curated DJ selection, you're guaranteed to be grooving along in no time.. So tune into this incredible cultural experience.

The term 'Eau de Groove' is a playful play on words, drawing inspiration from the French phrase "eau de parfum," which translates to "water of perfume."

We are capturing the essence and vibrancy of music and evoking sense of rhythm and energy.

Eau de Groove is also a weekly radio show, live on Kiss FM every Wednesday 2-4pm so if you are stacked in traffic remember to Tune in 87.8/87.6 and be transported in the flow of groove. 

Amazing DJs from the underground scene from Melbourne and Sydney will be curating tunes across two rooms of our favourite hub in Melbourne - Killing Time Bar on the 24th of November 2023.
