Description

In our midday workshop, from 11-1pm Leash Boyd from Spice Cadets will show you how to make some basic fermented food essentials, some fermented booze mixers and cordials and some living alcohol infusions, leading into a lush lunchtime feast up, eating examples of what you will make on the day.

Learn how to make a basic regular or gluten free sourdough bread, dairy and vegan cheese, a versatile mixed pickle, dolmades, preserved lemon, non-alcoholic ginger beer, fresh living cordials, and fresh living spirit infusions.

Bring whatever excess fruit, veg and herbs you have spare from your own harvest or weekly shop and as many re-used glass jars and bottles as you can, and a big plastic or other sealable container to take home your bread dough (ice cream container size or bigger). Also please make sure you lettuce know about any dietary requirements on booking.
