About
❤️IMMERSION ❤️ABUNDANCE ❤️JOY❤️
Lovefest is Australia's No.1 Sober festival and is coming to Natural Bridge. We will be connecting to ourselves, each other and earth.
We begin on the Friday night with a special opening circle that includes a First Nations elder and a special lighting of the fire. We follow this with a sound journey by Jake Wakefield to ground us and then we prepare for the next 2 days by setting intentions together aligned with event vision which is immersion, abundance and joy.
Monica from Stories that Stir will be facilitating a special sharing around the fire with some amazing people in the community telling authentic and raw stories activating the tribal way of living. This leads to an open invitation for anyone to share more stories or music including a fire jam facilitation by by Jessie Firebrand and a special surprise guest. Friday night will also include a special DJ Set by Brother Beans and community connection as we cook and share food with each other.
On Saturday we begin our day with Yoga by Stelios followed by the Breathwork(by Jeremy Rosie)Non-Violent communication workshop and Ecstatic Dance with Skyewalker. Claire Elizabeth Dea will take us on a journey through activities to connect with new people to meet a future best friend, lover, or business partner. We will also have the choice to take part in other workshops and talks including our special guest Dr Mario Alam.
We follow this with a special smoking ceremony from a local First Nations elder that leads into a First Nations Dance, song and then a community Drumming followed by an Epic DJ set by Afrodisea.
Sunday we take things to the next level including immersing ourselves in Permaculture action with Grounded Hub. More Yagya (Indian fire ceremony) by Stelios, Breathwork, and of course eating organic food together grown on the very land we are on, just like all other meals over the weekend. On Sunday we set the intention to immerse ourselves in multicultural activities via elders coming together, and singers coming together chanting in different languages to bring peace and unity in the world.
From this place we will move the energy by transforming the journey from chanting to epic dancing led by Mark Sankhara before connecting again around the fire.
Finishing off on Monday morning we’ll give back to the land by planting a tree—a gift from Lovefest to Grounded Hub. May it grow as a symbol of our shared love, connection, and care for the Earth."
We are immersing ourselves in the abundance of lush bushland, fresh water creek and organic food grown on land by the community.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this place and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Aboriginal people commonly travelled through the Numinbah Valley when attending gatherings and ceremonies. The ancestors that travelled through here were mostly from Bundjalung Nation, Yugambeh speaking, Kombumerri, or Mununjali people. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.

Lovefest
We come together to connect, transform, and celebrate, whilst holding the same vision and intention to spread love into the world and take action. We then start to make a difference in our lives and the lives of others.
This then ripples out into the society we live in, positively impacting the community at large and eventually the country and planet.
The 8 Principles of Lovefest are:
1. INNER JOURNEY
2. COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION
3. BEING OF SERVICE
4. HUMILITY
5. HARMONY
6. BUILDING COMMUNITY
7. CONNECTION TO LAND
8. CELEBRATION
