About
Lovefest is about Love for self, community, and earth, and is the biggest sober festival in Australia. Join us for the first Lovefest in New Zealand / Aotearoa.
A chance to gather in one of Aotearoa’s most beautiful areas in nature, nestled right next to the Abel Tasman National Park, and celebrate connection, creativity, and conscious living. It’s about coming together to share workshops, music, art, and moments that inspire self-awareness, community, and celebrating our authentic selves in many different ways.
We are intentionally choosing to be Sober at this event so we are all on the same wavelength that enables deeper CONNECTION within ourselves, each other, and country. This will include a mix of live music around the fire and on stage, cultural performances, permaculture, holistic, relational and embodiment workshops, inspirational discussions, DJ’s and Conscious Dance and a whole lot of fun and magic including many surprises.
Lovefest Golden Bay is a collaboration between Embodied Freedom, SoulHum and Lovefest Australia.
Embodied Freedom is a movement of people reclaiming & remembering community and this is a place where Lovefest and Embodied Freedom meets. With Embodied Freedom comes a multigenerational movement called SoulHum - a group of young people who will be joining in the co-creation of this event.
It's time to gather, going inwards, touching inside and reflecting through workshops as well as being in community together. As the weather starts to get cooler, we stoke up the fire, share food, stories and snuggle up under the stars.
Here is a video that includes footage from previous Lovefest events:

Lovefest
We come together to connect, transform, and celebrate, whilst holding the same vision and intention to spread love into the world and take action. We then start to make a difference in our lives and the lives of others.
This then ripples out into the society we live in, positively impacting the community at large and eventually the country and planet.
The 8 Principles of Lovefest are:
1. INNER JOURNEY
2. COMPASSIONATE COMMUNICATION
3. BEING OF SERVICE
4. HUMILITY
5. HARMONY
6. BUILDING COMMUNITY
7. CONNECTION TO LAND
8. CELEBRATION
Lovefest Foundation is a Non-profit private foundation established to encourage, foster and support humankind through the expansion of conscious awareness and mindfulness.
