About
Join us for a weekend of silent practice in a natural setting. Whether you're returning to established practice (vipassana, zazen, or other traditions) or exploring meditation for the first time, we offer structured space, experienced guidance, and supportive infrastructure.
What's included- Accommodation in a restful natural setting
- Wholefood vegetarian meals and beverages
- Guided seated meditation sessions
- Gentle bushwalks and light movement
- Teachings grounded in established contemplative traditions
Program structure
Silence begins Friday evening and continues through Sunday afternoon. Sitting sessions are interspersed with walking practice and rest. First-time practitioners receive individual orientation before the retreat begins.

No mobile service on-site. WiFi available for emergencies only.

Friday
4.pm -- Arrive, settle in and meet the group for afternoon tea.
5.00pm -- Welcome to the venue.
5.30pm -- 30 minutes silent practice.
6.00pm -- Bonfire and dinner.
7.00pm -- 30 minutes silent practice.
7.30pm -- Evening discourse.
Saturday
5.45 -- Wake-up bell
6.00am -- 60 minutes silent practice (2 x 30 minutes)
7am -- Breakfast
8.00am -- Bushwalk (optional) or silent practice.
8.30am -- 30 minutes silent practice
9.00am -- Morning discourse
9.30am -- 30 minutes silent practice
10.30am -- Morning tea break
11.00am -- 60 minutes silent practice (2 x 30 minutes)
12noon -- Lunch break
2.00pm -- 45 minutes silent practice
2.45pm -- Bushwalk (optional) or silent practice.
3.30pm -- 60 minutes silent practice (2 x 30 minutes)
4.30pm -- Afternoon tea
5.00pm -- 60 minutes silent practice (2 x 30 minutes)
6.00om -- Bonfire and dinner
