Camp Fees For Sunset Town at Pilot Burn

If you would like to camp with Sunset Town at Pilot Burn 2026 you will need to first join Sunburnt arts as a member and purchase a ticket to the event.

To join our camp and help us deliver the awesomeness of Sunset Town to The Paddock as our collective gift, we ask that we all contribute equally as a family.

This year as it's the first year back at what was known as Burning Seed and as we come off the back of our camp out event, we're gonna keep it simple, easy so we can just rock up and enjoy!

We still will need helping hands though through set up and pack down and during the event itself.

Our plan is to bring down from our site close by - The Full sound System. The bell tent we used as our story tent (pictured) for use as our dj stage. And some decor like the cactus which we will blacklight.

Our spectacular Tin Man is also coming down.

We will also have a mobile bar which we may do slap shots from!

Sunset has always been the big meeting point for the entire burn to gather in the afternoon, culminating in the sunset moment where we're all together on the dance floor. This year will be no exception and the plan is to collaborate with a couple other smaller theme camps to join together in a small village like setting.

We have received a small grant of $500 that doesn't fully even cover the cost of the generator we will hire to run our sound and lights. As our camp's kitty has run bare, we ask all to put in $50 and be part of The Sunset Town crew for 2026 at Pilot Burn.

This will cover the rest of the expenses such as fuel, transport, and hiring any extra lighting etc etc.

At a burn there are no spectators, everybody participates and at Sunset Town everyone contributes equally, no matter how long they've been here and how much work they put in.

And as Larry Harvey the founder of Burning Man always says 'burning man IS work'
